Wind shelter

Protect your horses, winter and summer. Horses that spend more than 16 hours outdoors in winter should have access to an open shed with a roof and three enclosed sides. It is recommended that the open side is south-facing. With a Kellfri wind shelter, the horses have a clean, dry place to lie down.

Even in summer, it's great for the animals to have a wind shelter or open shed. Gnats don't usually bite when they go under a roof, and horseflies don't go under roofs at all, which means the animals have peace and quiet during the times of day when the insects are most active.

Horses, which are flight animals and can set off running when they are stressed by insects, have peace and quiet, which also reduces the risk of injury.
